AEN ECOTOURISM INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 2025
The second award annual Asian Ecotourism Network - International Ecotourism Awards (AEN-IEA 2025) is launched to recognize accommodations and lodging in nature-based destinations internationally reflecting a unique combination of nature-culture balance in its infrastructural design, innovation and management, while addressing today’s sustainable development challenge. The awards also aim to recognize the tangible examples of ecotourism good practices that can be replicated and adapted across the region.
We are pleased to inform you that we have extended our registration deadline! new application submission due date is now Thursday, 31 August 2025. Finalists will be announced on 10 September 2025. We look forward to your applications!
ASIAN ECOTOURISM STANDARD FOR ACCOMMODATIONS (AESA) TRAINING
This training is designed to introduce and educate stakeholders about the Asian Ecotourism Standard for Accommodations (AESA) with a focus on ecolodge certification. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the best practices, sustainability criteria, and operational standards required to align accommodations with eco-friendly principles. The program includes practical insights into environmental conservation, cultural sensitivity, and community engagement strategies for developing sustainable tourism facilities.
