A group of Asian ecotourism leaders gathered for the inauguration ceremony of the Asian Ecotourism Network (AEN) in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Nalikatibhag Sangsnit, Director-General of Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization) or DASTA officially declared open the AEN office housed at DASTA’s headquarters in Bangkok.  He followed this by signing of a letter of support for AEN  for two years through to  June 2017, with a potential extension beyond that date. The support by DASTA includes the provision of the central office to support operational activities of the AEN on 30th Floor, TIPCO Tower, Bangkok, Thailand, computer equipment, office automation facilities and access to meeting rooms.
