TSHERING LHAMTSHOK

Administration Manager (Bhutan)

Tshering has a master’s degree in community-based conservation and development including human ecology and livelihoods from the Future Generations University, and a Bachelors in Economics from Delhi University. She has over twenty years of social and environmental inquiry, program development and management working with a wide range of state and non-state, international and Bhutanese entities. Her major experiences are in visioning and strategizing for long term goals; leading cross-functional teams to bring about fundamental changes and improvement in organizational dynamics, project delivery and resource mobilization – both as a leader and an independent consultant. 
Working with the Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN), a conservation organization in Bhutan, she headed the research program in conceptualizing research plans, implemented socio-economic programs including community-based tourism. At the Future Generations Organization, USA, she worked to strengthen a network of global community-based organizations working on livelihoods, conservation, and community health. As an independent consultant, Tshering has worked with the Government of Bhutan, the World Bank Group, Asian Development Bank, and Save the Children Bhutan Office on social and environmental inquiry and assessments. 
Tshering’s passion however, lies in travel and tourism with a focus of sustainable travels and indigenous peoples. She is the founder of Samsara Asia Journeys, a company dedicated to traveling the inner landscapes through meditation and the arts of the body and mind. She is a nature and portrait photographer, a yoga instructor, and a student of meditation and qigong.

DINDA IMELDA

Administration Officer (Indonesia)

Dinda Imelda is a sociologist who is studying for a master's degree in sustainable tourism at Padjadjaran University. She is more interested in tourism, particularly ecotourism, because her basic understanding and social abilities in community empowerment have led her to want to implement sociology and tourism. Various projects addressing the development of sustainable tourism and ecotourism have been carried out in partnership with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
